If you’re dreaming of a spring wedding at Maple Grove Estate in Knoxville, you’ll love the Southern elegance of Jake and Deanna’s day. Photographing their wedding was such a meaningful and memorable experience. Spring was in full bloom! The venue’s timeless charm provided the perfect backdrop for a joyful, love-filled celebration, with a touch of VOLS spirit!
I felt a personal connection to this wedding — Jake and I actually took communication classes together at the University of Tennessee. That made capturing this chapter of his life incredibly special.
Jake and Deanna are proud UT Vols fans, and their love for sports added a playful, lighthearted energy to the day. From the orange and white checkerboard groom’s cake to subtle team-themed touches, their personalities shone through in every detail.
I was 17 weeks pregnant at the time of their wedding. And while it was a full, physical day, I couldn’t have been more grateful. Their celebration reminded me why I love being a wedding photographer in Knoxville—because I get to preserve real, emotional, and timeless moments that matter.
Every wedding I photograph is an opportunity to tell a couple’s unique story through images that feel both classic and heartfelt. Jake and Deanna’s big day perfectly reflected who they are — joyful, grounded, and deeply connected. It’s weddings like this that make my job so fulfilling and remind me why I love capturing love stories across East Tennessee.
A huge special thank you to all of the amazing vendors! This was such a beautiful day, and I want to give a special shout-out to Courtney Taylor Event Planning. She planned every detail and made this day so magical and special!
