The Standard Knoxville is an awesome downtown wedding venue. If you haven’t had the chance to check it out, do it! Each wedding that I’ve captured there is truly beautiful no matter what season it is!
It’s the perfect choice for couples looking for a classy and sophisticated downtown venue that requires little to no effort to make it look like a wedding. There are a few other choices that are located directly downtown, but I’ve only personally had the chance to shoot there and one other venue. If you want to try and spot which other ones I’ve shot at I included them in my gallery. I would LOVE to shoot at other locations downtown.
Located in the heart of downtown, The Standard offers an elegant setting with plenty of space for a wedding reception.
Because of its modern design, The Standard helps couples create a look to their wedding of something truly unique. The natural lighting beams for not only the ceremony but also for the reception area. There aren’t a lot of venues that you can truly just leave alone, and it is beautiful without feeling the need to dress it up. (i.e. tons of floral and drapery)
Whether you’re looking for a small intimate gathering or a large celebration, The Standard has everything you need to make your dream wedding come true. One of the unique things I think this location has that not many venues have downtown is an outdoor rooftop area where you can take a ton of pictures. It’s literally connected to the building so there’s no need to travel around downtown if you really wanted to stay close to your wedding reception area.
The Standard is the perfect choice for couples looking to host their dream downtown wedding.
Lastly, my favorite part about this location is the natural light in the getting-ready suite for the bride! I mean, look at this lighting!!
